Meet The Team
Dr Nora Cumiskey - Practice Owner
Nora graduated from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Dental School in 2003. Since then she has worked in general dentistry in Central London in private, NHS and mixed practices. Nora has studied additional courses in various methods of putting particularly nervous patients at ease. These courses included acupuncture, hypnotherapy and NLP. Having previously studied dental technology Nora also worked in Harley Street in London. Nora’s gentle manner helps to set the tone in the practice and as practice owner she ensures this relaxed approach is consistently applied across all clinical and support staff.
Dr Heidi Daumler BDS (Lon) - Associate Dentist
Heidi graduated from Kings College London and has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry. She has worked in private and mixed practices and also owned her own practice along with her husband for many years. She lives locally and also works in another practice in Hampshire.
Dr John Harker MSc. BDS (Lond). MGDS. LDS RCS (Eng) - Associate Dentist
John graduated from Guys hospital in London and has over 30 years of experience. He has postgraduate qualifications in restorative prosthodontics and as part of his MSC also specialised in endodontics. John spent much of his early career in the Royal Navy and recently has been working in 2 other surgeries in the area.
Claire Robinson - Dental Hygienist
Claire started her dental career in 1985 as a Trainee Dental Nurse in a Harley Street practice in London. In 1987 she qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant at the London Medical Hospital and Dental Institute, where she continued to work, moving to operating theatres and gaining experience as an Oral Surgery Nurse.
In 1990 Claire graduated as a qualified Dental Hygienist from University College, London. She continued to work in London until 1998 when she returned to her home country of West Sussex where she has continued to work as a Dental Hygienist in several local practices. During this time she has gained further dental qualifications from Kings College Hospital, London and the University of Birmingham.
Vicky Middleton - Dental Nurse
Vicky has been at the practice for over 8 years. Vicky started as a dental nurse in 1998 and prior to working at Chantry House also worked in practices in Selsey and Bognor Regis.
Carol Novell - Receptionist
Carol has been the practice receptionist for 4 years. Before this she was the receptionist at another practice in the area for 8 years. Prior to living in West Sussex Carol lived in Surrey and also worked in a practice in New Malden in Surrey for 12 years.
Kevin Cumiskey - Practice Manager
Kevin has a background in finance and is Nora's husband. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 Kevin then went to work for a financial institution in London and was with them for over 13 years. Kevin will be concentrating on the non-dental side of the business and taking care of the finances, marketing and any staff or patient concerns.
