Dr Anitha Diwakar - Practice Owner
Anitha is the principal dentist and Clinical Director at Chantry house Dental Practice. She qualified as a dental surgeon in 1999 from India and has since accomplished extensive training in the oral and maxillofacial department in various hospitals across the country. Anitha also obtained MFDS (Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow in 2004.
Having developed extensive surgical skills she passed the statutory exam from Eastman Dental Hospital, London in 2006 and then completed her vocational training with Kent Surrey Sussex deanery in 2008. She has been providing comprehensive high quality dental care to patients in West Sussex for over 10 years.
Anitha always strives to keep up to date with the evolving profession and has obtained postgraduate diploma in Restorative dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, London in 2015.
Anitha takes pride in providing ethical, evidence based and patient centered care in a safe and friendly environment.
Outside Dentistry, Anitha is trained in Indian Classical dancing, singing and plays the Veena a string instrument. In her spare time she enjoys the various classes at her local leisure centre.
Anitha lives with her husband and son and together they enjoy travelling, cycling, and enjoy exploring various cuisines.
Ali Nazar - Dental Hygienist
Ali is the dental hygienist at Chantry House Dental Practice. He qualified as a dental hygienist & therapist at the University of Portsmouth in 2011 and has since kept busy with various training courses & qualifications. Early on, he branched out and achieved a teaching qualification, which led him into a senior lecturer role at Teesside University in the dental department. Before travelling Europe and spending time living in the Middle East, where he further developed his teaching skills in English language.
He is fully qualified to provide in-surgery & home tooth whitening.
He has a strong work ethic & strives to providing a relaxed & caring environment for patients to receive quality care.
In his private life he’s a fitness fanatic, whether he’s attending CrossFit or the gym, or competing in his local Parkrun or trying out new martial arts. He’s also a talented artist & is currently enjoying wood carving.
Sharon Murphy - Receptionist
Sharon has been a receptionist at Chantry House since April 2017. Before this she was a receptionist at a dental practice in Littlehampton for 9 years.
Sharon enjoys interacting with people and is very empathetic and caring.
Mary McClure - Receptionist
Mary joined the practice in June 2018, before joining us she was employed as office Administor by a local manufacturing company.
Mary has worked in various administrative roles within the NHS and has excellent customer facing experience.
